Kielbasa and Brown Sugar


OK, so listen carefully. This isn’t rocket science but I promise you, once you make this for a crowd two things will happen.

1.) People will want the recipe. You’ll explain the two simple steps and they won’t believe you…. They’ll still insist you write it down.
2.) There’ll be nothing left.

So stay with me now….


3 links of kielbasa, sliced thin
1 box of dark brown sugar
1/4 cup of liquor…. Peach schnapps, brandy, or a honey spiced rum

Slice the kielbasa 1/4” thick. Layer it in a deep backing dish. Sprinkle the brown sugar between the layers and pour the liquor over the top (optional).

Bake for 45 minutes at 325° until the kielbasa has a nice coating of caramelized sugar.

Put out some toothpicks and back away.
